FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

FAQ: FAQ

THE WALKING EXPERIENCE

How far do we walk each day?

The distance we walk each day varies depending on the journey.

On our single-day walks, the typical distance covered is circa 10km. On a multi-day walk such as the Great Southern Rail Trail (GSRT), the daily distances range from 12.4 km to 18.4 km. The GSRT is fairly flat with some very gentle gradients, and the trail is firm underfoot.

THE WELLBEING PROGRAM

What informs your wellbeing programs?

Positive psychology, also known as wellbeing science, informs the design of our wellbeing programs. We focus on the latest evidence-based strategies for enhancing happiness, meaning and wellbeing of our Wayfarers. We define wellbeing as feeling good and doing well.

ACCOMMODATION & MEALS

What level of comfort can I expect?

On our multi-day walks, we offer a choice of accommodation to suit your needs. For example, on our multi-day GSRT Wellbeing Walk, you can choose luxury accommodation at Campania of Meeniyan or standard accommodation at Meeniyan Motel.

WELLBEING WALK INCLUSIONS

What's included in the your Wellbeing Walks?

Our single day walks include lunch and walking snacks.

Our multi-days walks include accommodation, dinner each night of accommodation, breakfast and lunch on each walking day, car parking at the accommodation venue, and transportation back to your vehicle/public transport at the end of the journey.

ENVIRONMENT & COMMUNITY

How do you create positive impact?

We value positive working relationships with the people and environments in which we operate. Giving back to the community is integrated in our ethos and you have the opportunity to contribute to the communities we walk through.

AND MORE

Do you offer discounts for private groups?

For groups of 6 or more we offer a 5% discount for each Wayfarer. The full payment amount will be invoiced when booking. The discount will be applied at the time of final payment, once numbers are confirmed.
